Fits true to size, but if you are curvier on the bottom, then more of an 10/12 (so that they hang loosely in hip/thigh - and then you might wear them belted). The actual waistband measures 18 inches (flat), please keep in mind that the waistband is meant to sit on the hip (ideally lower than this model is wearing it!). 24.5 inches flat across the hip (and leave lots of room for ease). 36 inches total length, measured down the side seam. Where it hits at your ankle will depend on where you sit them at your waist, and of course, your height. The inseam and rise measurements are irrelevant to the fit here. 99% virgin wool, 1% elastane.
