Junya Watanabe Asymmetrical Gathered Front Cardigan/Jacket in Black, size Small. Fits slim to size, by design, but good for an XS/S i would say? From the Fall 2008 collection - this beauty is nearly vintage but is as relevant now as ever - this designer's work is SOOO timeless. Done in a beautiful (and very soft) wool jersey fabric, and fully lined - it's both lightweight and substantial at the same time (like is it a cardigan or a jacket?? Nobody knows!). The four pockets on the front are somehow filled at the top (i can't explain it better than that) with something so that they maintain the wobbly effect at the top - it's SOO COOL. The armholes are not at the same place on each side, and the front closure is not straight - the hem is not straight. This piece is SO interesting - even it is just plain black - it's a piece of art. Large snap front closures - there are 5 in total. Between 23 and 27 inches in length (measuring this is nearly impossible since it's so asymmetrical!). 95% wool, 5% polyurethane. In excellent condition. Originally not sure - maybe $1400CAD? Selling here for $385CAD!
