Margiela Combo Fabrics Striped Dress, size 42IT (fits like a US size 4/6 - the model in this pic is a size 2/ size 25 in jeans, and 5'7". It is about a size big for her, but that's also the look!) Absolutely INCREDIBLE, Margiela takes something tailored and classic and makes it just that little bit unexpected. The body is loose, and the waist hits a little lower than you might think it should - it's slightly "off" proportions are exactly what makes it SO GOOD!! It has a modern feel that is perfect for this season - why good design is always worth it. This dress is meant to be worn loose - please keep that in mind! The waistband is fixed, and has to be pulled over the hip or over the head, without opening it, which is why it really does have to be very loose. There is no zipper and the fly is decorative. There are only the buttons down the front. The armpit to armpit measurement is 20 inches. The waistband is 17.5 inches flat. Hip: 21 inches flat. 45 inches total length. 18 from shoulder to waist, 27 from waist to hem. The fabric tags have been removed. but the top part is cotton and the skirt is lightweight wool suiting fabric, feels like 100% wool. Lightly worn and in very good condition, but there is some faint signs of wear at the collar. Nothing anyone will ever notice, or that won't happen with time anyway, but this has been factored into the price! I'd say the overall condition is 9/10. Aside from the inside of the collar, the rest of the dress is in perfect shape. Originally likely over $2000CAD, and selling here for $175CAD!
