The Les Chevaux Dechaines (The Unleashed Horses) shawl is a design that celebrates Hermès' equestrian roots, with the motif itself depicting horses being fitted with various harnesses and bridles. Two prancing horses face off. At first glance, their symmetrical silhouettes seem to be simply drawn in pencil. But Octave Marsal's precise lines are composed of a succession of buckles, chains, stirrups and straps inspired by the Émile Hermès collection of illustrated catalogues. The large cashmere silk shawls are amongst the most luxe scarves from the house - SUCH a treat to see one pop up here! Hand rolled edges. Made in France. 70% cashmere, 30% silk.
