Maison Michel navy blue beaver fur “Virginie” hat with gold embroidered trim, size medium, but fits like a large. Never worn. This absolutely STUNNING hat from the famous French hatmaker was done in their highest quality wool - beaver fur felt (most of their hats are done in rabbit fur, vs most companies which will do lambs fur felt, aka wool felt). This hat was special ordered by myself during my final buying trip to Paris, it was the most incredible hat I had ever seen (and to this day that still holds true). The original price point of the beaver fur made it challenging commercially (this one retailed at $1350CAD), so they were quite rare to see. The thing about special ordering things from wholesale is, you can’t return it if it doesn’t fit. And this one came out fitting larger to size, and they can be tweaked a little but not a lot. Anyway, originally $1350CAD, and selling here for $335CAD!🎉
