Lee Mathews "Emiko" Puff Sleeve Ramie Top in Black, size "4". Like a comfy size Large, or a closer fitting XL. Stupidly beautiful in both fabric and cut - this Aussie designer is one of my absolute favourites - her work is so good. Ramie, if you're not familiar, is like linen, but finer - instead of being woven from flax (like linen), it's woven from a specific variety of nettle plant - it's finer and lighter and a bit dressier than linen, but with all of the comfort and breathability of linen. It's awesome - and a beautiful choice for this blouse. The puff sleeve is a masterclass in pattern drafting - it's lined on the inside with a cotton poplin, which is then sewn down around the armhole, so that it doesn't add much weight to blouse as a whole, just gives the needed internal structure. Very smart. 28 inches in length. 24 inches armpit to armpit. 100% ramie. In excellent condition. Originally around $625CAD, and selling here for $195CAD!
