Jil Sander Duffle Jacket in Red, size 38. Fits like a size 6, could also be cool worn oversize by a 4/6. From the pre-fall 2012 collection - designed by Raf Simons - this collection's inspiration was preppy collegiate aesthetic - masterfully executed here in this playful but very timeless pea coat design. 21.5 inches armpit to armpit. 26.5 inches in length. 100% wool. Lightly worn and in great condition overall - but there are several signs of wear to note. There are a number of slightly darker stains on the left arm (the wearers right arm) - it looks like splashes of water perhaps - it covers almost the whole arm and is subtle - something you notice when you turn the jacket into the light and sort of move it around otherwise it is not really visible. This jacket was freshly drycleaned and I do not believe the condition will improve with another cleaning. There are some areas where the wool has balded - so the condition is good but not perfect! Someone who loves nice things but is not a perfectionist will likely enjoy this beauty to no end. Originally must have been at least $2500 - $3500, if not more (when i sold Jil Sander at Holts in 2007/8 that was about the pricing - and this was from just a few years later), and selling here for $265CAD!
